I don't know what it is about spirals, I just had to photograph them today :-)

I was at work thinking about an assignment when I caught my eyes wondering inside the spiral of the notebook... so I thought mmmh, I think I will take photos of spirals tonight!!

And that's what I did, I looked for every notebook and binder I could get on my modest home library, and place them under 2 fluorescent lights.

I wanted the shots to be very dramatic, because spirals suggest this fun continuity that goes on and on and on...

So I had to bring the tripod and macro lens and used a shallow DoF through large aperture (F4) settings to exaggerate the "bending" of light through the path of a spiral. Exposure was set to 8sec.
